Using the Chinese character for “Soil” as a house, she humorously draws the fairies that live there. All drawings are done with Japanese brushes. The touch of Japanese paper and sumi (Chinese ink) gives this work a lovely, soft and unique touch of sumi-e (Chinese ink painting).
